One of the original members of the group, which began in 1997, and a member of Liberty Baptist Church sings lead and alto, as well as writing some of the original songs that the Liberty Belles sing. She has been married to Bob since 1973 and is so thankful that he shares her love of Gospel music and Jesus! Together they have a daughter and a son and are blessed by a wonderful daughter-in-love and three GRANDchildren, Hailey (who has been a part of some past projects), Aidan and Lillian. Robert is Dee's favorite hero. Her biggest musical influence was her mother, who played piano by ear and sang. Her entire family sang when she was a child, and she has loved Gospel music her entire life.

Dee was saved at the age of 10 in Memphis Tennessee, after understanding that the message of the Good Shephard and that lost lamb was really about her and Jesus. She is thankful for His saving love, and His willingness to seek and to save that which is lost.
